Gratitude is such an important quality to have throughout life. It helps bring out the life in everything and appreciate what you have so much. Its truly a great thing for everyone to always have in mind. The first link that I chose was "6 Sincere Ways to Express Gratitude" https://www.success.com/article/top-of-mind-6-sincere-ways-to-express-gratitude. This link had many great tips for gratitude like Elvira Guzman said "By showing others our gratitude we are attracting positive thoughts and that ultimately attracts opportunities." This quote shows that by having gratitude we are ultimately promoting and creating positivity which is such an important key in life. The second link that I really enjoyed was the "4 Science-Backed Reasons Gratitude Brings You Happiness" https://www.success.com/article/4-science-backed-reasons-gratitude-brings-you-happiness. I think this is a great one because what most people don't understand is that it is actually good for you and it is scientifically proved that it will help you to have gratitude. It helps your brain process other positive thoughts, gratitude promotes optimism, strengthens relationships, and if you receive it you're likely to pay it forward. Overall, many of the links were very great and helpful towards gratitude and I think everyone should have a little bit of gratitude in life it never hurts.
In this video by Dr. Ivan Joseph, "The skill of self confidence" there was a lot many great points that he made that really connected with me. First,he said that the only skill really needed in anything is confidence because without it because it gives you the belief to be able to accomplish it. Second, repetition is very important in becoming skilled in anything and having the confidence throughout. The more you repeat it and practice the better you get at it and more confident you will be, there is no accepting failure you have to be persistent in it. Third, encouraging your self-talk and giving yourself the motivation you need, give yourself the affirmation needed, if you don't say it and believe it no one else will. This video was a great push for confidence and I believe everyone should watch this to give them a little boost in their confidence.
In this video of Zig Ziglar"Attitude makes all the difference" he talked about a story of how this lady was about to be fired and how her attitude made the biggest difference. Three of his most important lessons would be; one, to comprehend what you enjoy about whatever you're doing and make a list of the good things so it will motivate you. Two, "Your eyes are the wonder of your soul" everything you experience is through your eyes and the way you look at things and the perspective you have on them. Third, "The healthiest of all human emotions is gratitude" it makes you appreciate everything and open your eyes to all the good stuff. Being thankful always motivates you into the greatness that can be achieved. This video related to me because I have also been in a little funk at one of my jobs thinking that its boring and I don't really need it, but now after listening to this it made me more clear of how grateful I am to have the opportunity to work there and how great it actually is.
